Start early morning from Dehradun. Drive through Mussoorie, Kempty Falls, and Purola. Enjoy scenic views of the Yamuna and Tons rivers. Reach Sankri village by evening. Overnight stay in guesthouse/hotel.
Trek: 4 km, 4-5 hours | Altitude: 9,100 ft
After breakfast, drive to Taluka (30 mins). Begin trek through pine forests and snow trails. Reach the beautiful Juda Ka Talab (frozen lake) campsite. Evening acclimatization walk and overnight camping.
Trek: 4 km, 3-4 hours | Altitude: 11,250 ft
Trek through snow-covered meadows with stunning views of surrounding peaks. Reach Kedarkantha base camp. Rest of the day for acclimatization and summit preparations. Early dinner and briefing for summit day.

Yes! Kedarkantha is perfect for beginners. The trek has moderate difficulty with well-marked trails and gradual altitude gain. No technical climbing skills required.
December to April is the best time. December-February offers heavy snowfall and winter wonderland experience. March-April has moderate snow with clearer skies.
Moderate fitness is sufficient. You should be able to walk 4-5 km continuously and do basic cardio. We recommend 2-3 weeks of pre-trek fitness preparation.
Winter clothing (thermal layers, down jacket), trekking shoes, backpack (40-50L), sleeping bag, water bottles, headlamp, sunscreen, and personal medicines. Detailed packing list will be provided after booking.
Yes! We provide guesthouse accommodation in Sankri and high-quality camping tents during the trek. All camping equipment including sleeping bags is included.
