Fly to Lukla, Trek to Phakding

Flight: 35 min | Trek: 3-4 hours | Altitude: 8,700 ft

Thrilling mountain flight to Lukla. Begin trek through pine forests along the Dudh Koshi River to Phakding.

Phakding to Namche Bazaar

Trek: 6-7 hours | Altitude: 11,290 ft

Cross suspension bridges, enter Sagarmatha National Park, and climb to the vibrant Sherpa capital.

Acclimatization Day at Namche

Altitude: 11,290 ft | Optional hike to Everest View Hotel

Important acclimatization day. Hike to Everest View Hotel or visit Khumjung village. Explore Namche's markets.

Namche to Tengboche

Trek through rhododendron forests with views of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. Visit Tengboche Monastery.

Descend to Debuche, cross the Imja River, and climb to Dingboche with spectacular mountain views.

Second acclimatization day. Hike to Nagarjun Hill (16,404 ft) for panoramic views of Makalu and Island Peak.

Trek: 5-6 hours | Altitude: 16,210 ft

Trek along the lateral moraine of Khumbu Glacier. Pass memorials of climbers who perished on Everest.

Lobuche to EBC, Back to Gorak Shep

Trek: 7-8 hours | EBC: 17,598 ft | Gorak Shep: 16,942 ft

Big day! Trek to Everest Base Camp through the Khumbu Glacier. Return to Gorak Shep for overnight.

Kala Patthar Sunrise, Trek to Pheriche

Kala Patthar: 18,514 ft | Trek to Pheriche: 14,340 ft

Pre-dawn hike to Kala Patthar for spectacular Everest sunrise. Descend to Pheriche.

Pheriche to Namche Bazaar

Trek: 6-7 hours | Altitude: 11,290 ft

Long descent through Pangboche and Tengboche back to Namche Bazaar. Celebrate with hot showers!

Namche to Lukla

Final day of trekking. Descend to Lukla through familiar villages. Celebration dinner with the team.

Flight: 35 min | Rest day in Kathmandu

Morning flight back to Kathmandu. Rest, shopping, or explore the city. Farewell dinner in the evening.
